OUR SERVICES

This service is used on New Developments and extensions, where windows and doors are fitted into new openings.

What is included in this service?

·  We unload windows/doors from the lorry and take them to the location where they will be fitted.

·  For wooden windows, we install Damp Proof membranes as standard.

·  We level windows and doors into openings by using wedges. 

·  We fit windows and doors into prepared openings by using mechanical fixings, and brackets. 

·  We apply window installation foam

·  We will do external weather sealing. For wooden windows, we do sand & cement pointing, and for aluminium or steel windows coloured mastic (the same colour as frames).

·  We will touch up installation marks for wooden windows and will leave some paint for the main contractor if further touch up will be required.

·  We will leave the aluminium windows/doors with tape protection internally and externally, which must be removed within six months.

What is not included in this service?

·  Rubbish removal from site.

·  Decoration externally

·  Making good internally, which means no plastering, no decorating, no supplying and fitting architraves, or window boards.

·  Film protection on the glazing during the construction works.

·  Scaffolding, cranes, or any lifting equipment.

·  Internal protection from dust and dirt (flooring/furniture)

·  Any structural work in the property, e.g. removing internal walls or doors, required to create access for the glazing units to be moved to the location where they will be installed 

This service is used when we are working on building sites with other contractors. 

What is included in this service?

·  We unload windows/doors from the lorry and take them to the location where they will be fitted.

·  We will carefully remove the existing windows/doors from the openings, and we will leave them at the skip provided by the main contractor, or at the agreed location on site.

·  We will prepare openings for installation (we will remove any loose parts).

This service is used when we are working on building sites where there are no other contractors and we take care of everything for the client. 

What is included in this service?

·  We will put dust sheets on the furniture, carpet/ floor protection in areas of work.

·  We unload windows/doors from the lorry and take them to the location where they will be fitted.

·  We will carefully remove the existing windows/doors from the openings. 

·  We will prepare openings for installation (we will remove any loose parts).

·  For wooden windows, we install Damp Proof membranes as standard.

·  We level windows and doors into openings by using wedges. 

·  We fit windows and doors into prepared openings by using mechanical fixings, and brackets. 

·  We apply window installation foam.

·  We will prepare for the decoration the wall affected by the window installation.

·  We will supply and fit new architraves and window boards. 

·  We will decorate the wall, architraves and window boards.

·  We will remove the tape protection internally and externally from the aluminium windows/doors.

·  We will vacuum all areas of work each evening.

·  We will clean the glass on completion.

·  We will dispose of the existing windows and doors to the recycling centre.

What is not included in this service?

·  Paint supply for wall decoration. 

·  Supply and installation of Wallpaper, normally wallpaper is fitted by specialist contractors.

·  Decoration externally. 

·  Scaffolding, cranes, or any lifting equipment, if required will be discussed before placing the order.

·  Any other builders’ work not included/discussed in the description of this service.
